Network Drive Storage Space

Network drive space (also referred to as a netshare) is provided when you activate your BlueNet Account. All faculty, staff, and students are provided with a personal netshare (M: drive) with 10GB of space. The personal netshare (M: drive) is accessible from any computer on or off campus. It is backed up nightly to prevent loss of data in the event of server failure. Faculty and staff may have access to additional netshares such as the departmental S: drive or shared U: drive. Faculty and staff who need to store files containing Personal Identifiable Information (PII) should request a secure netshare. Faculty may request a Coursework V: drive to share files within your courses.

How to Access:

On campus, your netshares are available when you log in to any computer. On Windows computers, they are configured automatically and are accessible via the Computer icon. How to Request:

Faculty and staff: To request access to an existing departmental S drive or shared U drive, please have your department chair grant access via Data Privilege or email the IT Help Desk to request access for you.

To request a new Netshare, click on the appropriate link below and log in with your BlueNet username and password, if prompted. Complete the online form and click on the Review & Submit button; confirm the information and click on the Submit button. You will receive an email indicating your request has been received.
