Students wins research award from American Psychological Association

Psychology student Alexis Nasse was awarded a national research award at the American Psychological Association convention, held Aug. 9 through 12 in San Francisco. Nasse earned the Student Translational Neuropsychology Award for her presentation titled “Metacognitive Self-Reflection Enhances the Benefits of Cognitive Training in Schizophrenia,” which is based on her work at the Institute of Living in Hartford, where she is employed as a research assistant.
