Central’s BS in Computer Science program prepares students for successful careers in the software industry. Students earn a broad range of critical skills in software development, computer security, networking, databases, artificial intelligence, and many more. This alternative to Computer Science- Honors was designed as a fast path to the degree for transfer students and students that change majors after they begin their academic career.

Pairing a Computer Science BS with a complimentary minor bolsters a graduate’s opportunities for job placement and advancement.

Computer Science at Central is certainly a wonderful program and I would not have obtained my career goals without it.   1. Graduates will apply a broad understanding of the fundamental theories, concepts, and applications of computer science in their career.
