Transfer Students

Whether you are transferring from a community college or a four-year college, we'll make your transition to Central Connecticut State University as seamless and easy as possible.

Transfer students are an important part of Central—we enroll about 1,000 each year—and we want you to feel at home here! Great programs like Transfer Tuesdays help new transfer students learn about CCSU, make friends, share information, and find the support they need to become a part of the Blue Devil family.

Whichever major you choose at CCSU, our transfer admissions counselors are available for advice on courses to take and will be with you each step of the transfer process.

Why Choose CCSU?

  • You'll take exciting courses and work with extraordinary professors who bring their expertise and real-world experience into the classroom

  • You'll live in a vibrant, transformational campus community, where inclusivity and new perspectives are embraced

  • You'll play an active role in our communities and learn-by-doing in local schools, businesses, and clinics

  • You'll experience a "Blanket of Support” from a close-knit, welcoming campus where students are treated like family
