We are delighted that you want to join the Central community. Whether you are a first-year, transfer, or graduate student, we think you will find our campus to be a warm, welcoming environment. Here at Central, we understand the transition to college can be overwhelming, and we want you to know our administrators, faculty, staff, and students are ready to help you become a vital member of our community. We are confident you will find our campus to be an inspirational, safe, and academically stimulating place. We can't wait to see you on campus soon!
Newly admitted transfer students are advised in group sessions throughout the year. During these sessions, students will learn about university requirements, policies, and procedures and the curricular requirements of their majors. Students will be advised individually for course selection and receive all the necessary materials (including their alternate pin number) to register for classes online.
We highly encourage you to make plans to come in for advising as soon as possible!
Each of our four schools offers a student support advising center dedicated to helping students succeed. Our advisors are guides, giving CCSU students personalized insight into making good academic decisions.
