Congratulations! By now you should have received a confirmation email from the registrar confirming your edibility to attend Winter Commencement. If you believe you are eligible to attend but did not receive an email, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.
We will host Winter Commencement 2022 on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at 1 p.m. on campus in Welte Auditorium. The snow/inclement weather date will be Sunday, December 18, 2022. If you wish to participate, please see the important information below about the ceremony and how to purchase regalia (caps and gowns).
If you prefer to participate in the May 2023 Commencement ceremony, you don't need to take any action now. You will automatically receive information about that ceremony via CCSU email in March 2023.
RSVP and Guest Tickets for the Ceremony
Due to limited space in Welte Auditorium, you must RSVP with the link provided in your confirmation email to let us know that you are attending the ceremony. When submitting your RSVP, you will also be able to reserve up to three guest tickets for the ceremony. Please RSVP as soon as possible to ensure your place and your guest tickets. Guest tickets will be available for pick up in the Student Center on Wednesday, December 14, and Thursday, December 15, between 11:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Note: Master's degree and sixth-year gowns are different than undergraduate gowns. Sixth-year candidates should order master’s regalia.

Portrait Sittings Prior to Commencement
Grad Images, our official commencement photographer, will be available for free sittings on Saturday, December 17, before the ceremony from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Student Center. Graduates are welcome to have their family members included in these photos. Additionally, the photographers will be available tin the Student Center after the ceremony to take additional friends and family photos.

Cords and stoles
University Honor Cords (Summa, Magna, and Cum Laude) for eligible undergraduate candidates can be picked up at Cap & Gown Distribution. The only cords or stoles permitted to be worn at the ceremony are those for university-sanctioned honor societies and university honors (Summa, Magna, and Cum Laude) for eligible undergraduate candidates.
