CCSU baseball wraps up historic season
Baseball Team Advisor Cathy Sylvester (center), President Zulma R. Toro, and other members of the campus community congratulate members of the CCSU baseball team when they returned to campus after competing in the NCAA Regional tournament in Fayetteville, Ark. The Blue Devils earned a berth in the tournament after clinching the NEC championship in May. During tournament play, the Blue Devils won their first-ever NCAA game against University of California on June 1. The season ended for the Blue Devils on June 2 with their 9-5 loss to Texas Christian University.
