Dr. Joan Nicoll-Senft is a Professor of Special Education and also serves as Chair of the Department of Special Education and Interventions. She teaches both graduate and undergraduate courses in special education focused on the development and implementation of evidence-based instruction for students with disabilities. A former special education teacher and administrator, she cares deeply about teacher preparation and K-12 students. Her research interests focus on strategies to meet the needs of all learners in both K-12 and higher education settings.
She holds a Ph.D. in Special Education from Temple University as well as a B.A. and M.A. in Special Education and School Administration from Rowan University.
