TechCentral (formerly known as MW Student Technology Center

Spring 2022 - the Center is open and we are now called TechCentral

The Student Technology Center was renovated during summer and fall 2021. It is now open with the new name of TechCentral. The room has a mix of Windows PCs and Apple Mac's and offers printers, scanners, and a copier, as well as a wide variety of software to meet the computing needs for student coursework. TechCentral also has WiFi access for those students who prefer to use their own laptop computers. There is one computerized classroom set up in the Center for faculty and training use. The PC classroom contains 30 student PCs and has a teaching station with projector and screen. Faculty members may reserve this room for classes a few times during the semester to show their students how to use software, do research on the Internet, give exams, etc. 

New for the Spring 2022 semester, TechCentral offers Walk-In Technology Support, for students, faculty, and staff. Click here to more information about Walk-In Support.

First-come, First-served basis when the TechCentral is open. See hours below.

How to Request:

Faculty - Email lisa.washko@ccsu.edu to request a reservation in the PC classroom.
