Mathematica Software

Mathematica is a symbolic mathematical computation program, sometimes called a computer algebra program, used in many scientific, engineering, mathematical, and computing fields. 

How to Request and Access:

CCSU has volume licensing for Mathematica.  

Windows PC's:

Campus Classrooms and Labs: Pre-installed on all computers.
Faculty and Staff Offices: For CCSU computers, Mathematica is available for install from Software Center (PC's) or Self Service (Mac's) or contact the Help Desk to request (860)832-1720 or email


Campus Classrooms and Labs: Request using the service request form.

  1. Go to and click on Service and Equipment Requests. 
  2. Login with email address and password.
  3. Search for "Software Installation".
  4. Complete the form; click Review & Submit; confirm the information and click Submit.
