Anti-Plagiarism Software (SafeAssign)

Student's work can be checked for originality and proper citations using anti-plagiarism software, SafeAssign, through Blackboard Learn. It is an educational tool used to prevent plagiarism and to create opportunities to help students identify how to properly attribute sources rather than paraphrase. The software compares submitted assignments against several different databases to identify areas of overlap between the submitted assignment and existing works.

How to Access: SafeAssign can be selected in Blackboard Learn from your course Content Area under Assessments tab.
