Central hosted a winter commencement ceremony on Dec. 17 in Welte Auditorium, honoring students who met their degree requirements as of August 2022, December 2022, and the Winter Intersession. New Britain Mayor Erin Stewart ’09 served as commencement speaker. The university also presented Dr. Merle Harris ’64, ’73 with an honorary degree. Dr. Harris is a former member of the CSCU Board of Regents and served as interim president of Central.
