The National Orientation Directors Association - Association for Orientation, Transition, and Retention in Higher Education (NODA) presented Central Program Assistant Danni Alarie with its 2023 Region IX Outstanding New Professional Award. Alarie was selected from a field of candidates in the six states and five Canadian provinces that make up NODA Region IX.
The Outstanding New Professional Award recognizes outstanding contributions to the field of orientation, transition, and retention. Contributions include demonstrated commitment to and promise of becoming a leader in the field of orientation, transition, and retention; innovative contributions to the individual's institution; active participation in NODA; or other significant contributions to the field.
Region IX announced the award winners during the recent NODA Regional Conference in Ithaca, N.Y. Winners from Region IX will advance for consideration in NODA’s annual awards process.
