Greetings New Students, Family and Friends

Congratulations on your acceptance to attend Central Connecticut State University! The Office of New Student Programs coordinates Orientation programs for all confirmed new students: first years and transfer students.

We are looking forward to welcoming you to our campus for our summer orientation program this summer, which will be in person. Please check back soon for dates and information to sign up. In the meantime, plesase review the following information to help you prepare for your transition to CCSU.

Set up your BlueNet Account:Once you create your Bluenet account, you will be granted access to your CCSU Office 365 email account, WebCentral-Banner Web, and Blackboard Learn. So, if you have not already done so, please set up your Bluenet account now.

Writing Placement Exam: This exam helps students determine which introductory writing class will help them to be most successful. Get more information on the Writing Placement Exam. If needed, you will receive an invitation to take this exam.

Math Placement Exam: If you feel that your math skills and knowledge are not reflected in your SAT/ACT scores, you may opt to take the Math Placement Exam. If you do not have SAT/ACT scores on file with the Office of Admissions, you will need to take the exam before being placed in a Math class. Schedule your Math Placement Exam.
