Program Description

Program integrates multiple IT disciplines and provides two specializations. Computer Science focuses on database concepts, artificial intelligence, programming, operating system design, high-performance computing. Networking and Telecommunications Technology covers electronic communications, microcomputers, network administration and security, industrial operations management, and lean principles.

Learning Outcomes


  1. theoretical and conceptual mastery of a broad base of computer science, management information systems, and networking and telecommunications skills required for successful careers in the IT field;

  2. application-based mastery of a broad base of computer science, management information systems, and networking and telecommunications skills required for successful careers in the IT field; and


  3. the ability to conduct and present applied research through a research team project.
