Bachelor of Science in Construction Management program is accredited by the American Council for Construction Education (ACCE), 1717 North Loop 1604 East, Suite 320, San Antonio, Texas 78232-1570, tel. (210) 495-6161677-0720.

ACCE is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) as the accrediting agency for 4-year baccalaureate degree programs in construction. ACCE is the leading advocate of quality construction education programs. The curricular pattern is reviewed in terms of stated objectives, content, methods, supporting resources and evaluation system.

Mission

The Construction Management program’s mission is to prepare students to enter the workforce who are fully qualified and highly sought after, maintain a quality educational program and respond to industry needs.

Program Educational Goals and Objectives

There are three long-term goals of the Construction Management program. Each long-term goal has near term objectives that are measured by the identified assessment tools. These goals are reviewed, jointly, by the faculty and the Industry Advisory Board on an annual basis.

Goal #1: Produce graduates who are in high demand and have the skills necessary to be successful.

Goal #2: Maintain a quality educational program focused on construction management skills.

Maintain professional accreditation for the program.
