Educational Technology, M.S.

Program Description

Prepares students for careers as educational technology leaders and administrators in schools and on campuses. Program balances theory and hands-on experience and focuses on computer-based instruction, instructional design, interactive multimedia, networking, and distance learning.

Learning Outcomes

Students are expected to:

  1. apply technology skills in the development of instruction;
  2. understand and apply instructional design process;
  3. apply production skills in the development of instruction;
  4. apply evaluation standards to various instructional programs;
  5. understand and apply the technology integration process;
  6. understand and apply inquiry skills in educational technology research; and
  7. demonstrate leadership skills in applying instructional technology in the work environments.
