Program Description

For students interested in careers in certified athletic training; strength and conditioning; and health and fitness. Graduates find employment on athletic teams, college and high school athletic programs, private fitness facilities, community health organizations, and corporate fitness programs.

Learning Outcomes

Students in the program are expected to:

  1. interpret and determine appropriate application of any one or combination of the following theories to their professions: biomechanical, physiological, psychological, and sociological
  2. read and interpret research and apply significant findings to their professions
