Nominate a student for President's Citation Award

Published:

Nominations are now open for the President’s Citation Award, which is presented annually to outstanding seniors. The award recognizes accomplishments and contributions that benefit the university.

Consideration is given for students who have demonstrated their commitment not only to their academics but also to leadership, student success, and community engagement activities.

Nominations will be reviewed, and a screening committee will recommend the finalists to President Toro, who will make the final selection.

One letter of reference from an academic or administrative faculty member is required for nomination. Nominating faculty should send the award nomination form with a letter of reference to the Office of Student Affairs by Monday, April 8. Nominations forms were emailed to faculty on March 12. Submit nominations to lorraine.collazo-deleon@ccsu.edu/.

President’s Citation award winners will be recognized at a ceremony on May 1 in the Barnard Hall Community Room. Individuals selected for this distinction will be contacted prior to the ceremony.
